The Independent Order of Odd Fellows 1152 Wysox, PA Chapter have chosen Amanda Fee, a practical nursing student, to receive an Odd Fellows Scholarship for her second semester. The Odd Fellows are very supportive of the Practical Nursing Program and continue to give financial assistance to deserving students.
Nelson Silverstrim, Noble Grand of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows 1152 Wysox, PA Chapter, presented the Odd Fellow Scholarship to Amanda Fee.
The Practical Nursing Program located at Northern Tier Career Center, Towanda, PA is in its 39th year. It is a one-year program that qualifies graduates to apply for licensure in Practical Nursing. Practical nurses work in nursing homes, doctors’ offices, hospitals, and home health care as well as in other areas of health care.
