The NTCC invites applications for a Building Trades Instructor for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must have experience and the willingness to teach all aspects of the Building Trades Industry such as framing, finish carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and blueprint reading.
The successful candidate must also be able to relate well with high-school aged students, work collaboratively as a team and prepare lessons that support students learning and skill development. The candidate must possess:
Technology Education Teaching Certificate or
Vocational Teaching Certificate in Building Construction or
Minimum of 4 years (8000 hours) wage earning experience directly related to a building trades occupation and be willing to complete the necessary coursework to earn a Vocational teaching certificate.
