Computer Systems Networking

Students in the Computer Systems Networking program learn how to provide technical support to computer users in a workenvironment.  Students learn to build, troubleshoot, and maintain computers.  They also learn to install, configure, and repair the Windows™ operating system.  In addition, students study basic network design, installation, and maintenance.  It is possible for Computer Systems Networking students to work toward two certifications: CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Network+.

Related Occupations

Upon graduation, our students may be able to enter the workforce directly as computer/desktop support technicians or network support technicians.  With additional education, our students can become computer network administrators, network security specialists, and numerous other related occupations involving sales, service, manufacturing, or research and development.
